Why the name?

Simply enough, I have a love for most if not all forms of art, but in this case icons (or avatars) are digital art. This is also the name of an awesome Daft Punk song. <3

I thought the name was 'Illustrious'?/Why is the site called 'Illustrious' on some pages?

The word 'illustrious' can describe something bright or luminous, but it also means something well known or distinguished. It's also derived from 'illustrate'. For me, icons are like an illustration of how I'm feeling or what I'm thinking at the moment. Like a graphical mood ring, I guess.

Originally, this site was called Illustrious. However, after a thorough search through my site plans, I found that I'd wrongly named this project. I do admire the name 'Illustrious', but I like 'Digital Love' more. If you see the site referred to as 'Illustrious' on other pages of the site or elsewhere it's because I've failed to change it. Please let me know.

Do you make custom icons?

Eh...my official answer will have to be no. However, you can e-mail me and ask. Custom works are more based on whether I feel like it, and also if I have the time. Of course, if I know you then I'll be more than happy to make something for you.

What's up with your update format?

My update format is one of my own design, and it's mostly so I can tell when I last updated. It looks like this: "Update # 01#272008-1205". "01" is the update number, "272008" is the date (2-7-2008), and "1205" is the time in military hours.

Triffles. For one, that's not a question. But it's possible that I made an icon and drew inspiration from something or other of yours. I'm absent-minded about things like that. But if you think this happened, please e-mail me and state your case so I can add you to the credits page.

Where do you get your images?

To find this out, you can visit the Credits page. I try and post as many links as I can as to where I get my images. Some of my icons are older so I don't have the sources for them (because they were actually created on someone else's computer with base images already on their computer).
